Q. What are the various payment options?

You can choose from any of these payment options: Credit card / Debit card / CCAVENUE / HDFC credit cards / Cheque Payment.

 

Q. What payment options do I have if I wish to reschedule my booking?

We request you to contact our customer care at 1-800-212-0024. The payment for the difference in booking amount and reschedule charges can be paid online at: chalakokaan.com (only credit card accepted).

 

Q. Where can I check my refund amount, if I wish to cancel my reservation?

Q. I have contacted the hotel directly to cancel my booking. How will I receive my refund?

In case you have cancelled the reservation directly, please call us back at our customer care at 1-800-212-0024 and inform so that refund can be expedited as per standard process.

 

Q. What is the Service Fee levied on amendment or cancellation of Hotel bookings?

In case, of online amendment and cancellation, the service fee is 30% per person for online cancellations. The convenience fees are also non-refundable. If the Hotel reservation is cancelled from the Hotel end, Chala Kokaan does not charge any Service Fee from the customer.

 

For - Domestic Hotels

 

Q. How will I receive my hotel voucher?

On completion of your booking online, you'll receive the hotel voucher on the email ID provided. In case you don't receive it within an hour of booking, please call our customer care number 1-800-212-0024 and quote your booking reference number.

 

Q. How can I cancel my hotel booking?

You can call us at our customer support number 1-800-212-0024 or write us at enquiry@chalakokaan.com for cancellation. You can check the cancellation charges and cancel your hotel booking online.

 

Q. Will I be charged if I wish to cancel my hotel booking?

Chala Kokaan might charge (for few hotels) a nominal fee of 30% for hotel cancellation. The hotel concerned might charge a fee for cancellation. You can either check on your hotel voucher or check the hotel details at www.chalakokaan.com

 

Q. I wish to make the payment directly to the hotel.

Yes, you can. You can book online and select the 'Pay at Hotel' option on the payment page. You'll not be charged anything at the time of booking. The booking amount would be payable directly to the hotel.

 

Q. Do I need to carry a photo Identification card for the checking in to the hotel?

Yes, all the guests need to carry a valid government photo ID proof. The hotel is well within their right to deny check in if you are not carrying a valid photo ID proof.

 

Q. How long does it take to process refund?

We process refund from our end within couple of days of getting a cancellation request. However, your respective bank will take some time to transfer the money into your account.

 

For - Car Bookings

 

Q. Do I require reconfirming my booking 72- 48 hours before departure?

Reconfirmation is not required for any booking now.

 

Q. What are the modes of payment available on the website?

Customers can pay through Credit card, Debit card or via CCAvenue

 

Q. After making the payment, how do I confirm if the payment has been received by Chala Kokaan?

After each successful payment, you receive a confirmation email on the registered email Id and the receipt of that amount too.

 

Q. What is my balance due date?

The balance due date is the date when you made the booking +7 days.

 

Q. How do I make the balance payment of my booking?

Balance payment option is available on the website.

 

Q. How can I print my Vouchers?

Vouchers can be printed through the Emails. Select the booking for which you want the e-vouchers and then click on Print e-ticket.

 

Q. How do I get my e-voucher/ payment receipt/ invoice on the Chala Kokaan website?

You can get your e-vouchers / invoice through My Bookings section on chalakokaan.com or you can call us at 1-800-212-0024.

 

Q. Is there a cancellation policy for Hotels or cars booked on ChalaKokaan?

Each Hotel or Car Service has a different cancellation charge. You can login to My Bookings using your account credentials and check the cancellation policy and do online cancellation or you can call us at 1-800-212-0024.

 

Q. How do I cancel my booking?

Bookings made on www.chalakokaan.com can be cancelled by calling 1-800-212-0024.

Q. How many passengers are required to make a group booking?

A minimum of 5 adults travelling together on a single car will be eligible for a group booking. There is no capping on maximum number of passengers.

 

Q. How can I make a request for a group booking?

To submit your request for group reservations you can call us at 1-800-212-0024.  

 

Q. What are the payment options for a group booking?

Net banking, credit card, CCAVENUE or cheque can be used as payment options.

 

Q. Can rooms be pre-assignment for a group?

We will try to make the group together once full payment is received; this is, however, subject to availability. You need to send us a request for the same at the outset.

 

Q. Do I get a discount for making a group booking?

Group booking fares may or may not be discounted; however you can be offered different pricing structure that you may find more suitable for your group. Group bookings also offer greater flexibility and added inclusions. These however would vary from Property to another.
